At the end of September, there was a lot of enthusiasm at ATZWANGER: future-oriented projects and the visionary company philosophy were presented for RAI Südtirol. The film team from the "Pluspunkt" programme visited the company's headquarters in Bozen/Bolzano, as well as innovative energy and waste technology projects on site.
After thorough preparation, the film was first shot on a construction site, the expansion of the wastewater treatment plant in Meran/Merano. Thanks to ATZWANGER's expertise, industrial wastewater will in future be converted into biogas and then into electricity and heat - sustainably and efficiently.
The second station, the anaerobic digestion plant at ECO-Center AG/SpA in Lana, is a prime example of how ATZWANGER processes organic waste and converts it into heat and electricity. Soon biomass from all over South Tyrol will be delivered here - currently only Pustertal/Val Pusteria is still missing. Here, for example, waste is turned into a resource that generates electricity for around 2.500 households.
These pioneering projects are developed at the headquarters in Bozen/Bolzano, where the latest technologies are researched and brought together from around the world, setting new standards - such as the introduction of sewage sludge incineration.
Here the result of the great day of filming!
For each project, we develop a tailor-made, state-of-the-art solution - sometimes using our own technologies, sometimes those of partners from all over Europe.
